Invitation for TV Production Students: Live Remote Sports Broadcast BTS – This Friday

TV Production Educators and Advisors:

Please share this information with your high school students, athletic directors, and student government.

This Friday (10/9/2026), we are assisting in the live production of a football game from Las Vegas that features SLAM Nevada at Mater East.  Kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m.  Eastern/7 p.m. Pacific.

We will have two ways to watch.  For regular viewers, the game will be available free on YouTube.  We will post the link in this channel as soon as it is ready.

For broadcasting/TV production students, and anyone else that is interested, we will have a “behind the scenes” (BTS) view of the live production streamed into a Zoom meeting, which will begin 30 minutes before kickoff.  In the BTS, you will see all of the camera views as well as raw replay and hear the intercom communication between the director and camera operators.

These are part of a test/pilot for a future “Game of the Week” series on Colegia TV and an opportunity for schools to learn more about remote live production of sports.  Please encourage folks that are interested to attend.
