Be Part of a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD with the NHL

Get ready for an exciting opportunity brought to you by SLAM and our partners at the National Hockey League (NHL). 

YOU have been invited to participate in the NHL STREET Championships on December 21, 2025, at Amerant Bank Arena — home of the back-to-back Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers.

This one-day street hockey festival will feature nine outdoor rinks, fast-paced 3-on-3 games, fan activities, giveaways, and teams from SLAM! schools across the network. Even better — the NHL will attempt to set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the largest one-day street hockey championship, and you can be part of it!

All registered SLAM participants will receive:

• Free round-trip bus transportation

• An official event jersey

• A STREET hockey stick

• Giveaways from BODYARMOR, Upper Deck, Geico, Ticketmaster, Jersey Mike’s, and more

• Food vouchers for on-site food trucks

Student Gameplay Window:
The games will take place between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. All skills and grade levels are welcome—no skates needed, just sneakers and enthusiasm! Adaptive divisions will also be available for students with special needs.

This event is a great way to show your school spirit, build teamwork, and enjoy a memorable day with friends.
