Performance Based Clubs

While every school is different, there are general categories and clubs that remain consistent. Performance art clubs are one example of more common clubs. Comedy Club, Dance Club, Film Production Club, and Slam Poetry Club are a few examples of performance art. These types of clubs can help you express yourself and let your creativity flow. This in turn can help you become more well-rounded while also allowing you to express yourself and participate in something you might really enjoy.

Volunteer Clubs

Volunteer clubs such as Key Club or Red Cross Club, are very common in most schools and provide amazing opportunities to help the community. This type of volunteer work can be very rewarding and fulfilling. Community service hours are a requirement for graduation and may even provide you with opportunities to obtain scholarship which can be more efficient for your time.

At the end of the day, the best clubs for your well-being are those you enjoy. Find an extracurricular activity that interests you and you’re passionate about, this way it will feel more like a pastime than a chore. Whatever you do, make sure it is the best for you and remember to be kind to yourself.
