Engage in Exercise

One of the best ways to create energy is to engage in activities that make you more physically active. Exercise is a great example of this as it can range from something as simple as a walk, to a high intensity team based sport. It can create energy by promoting breathing and relaxing your muscles with more gentle ones such as yoga or meditation.

Stay Hydrated

One of the most simple yet effective tips is to drink water. Drinking enough water has an immense amount of benefits, the same way that not drinking enough can cause problems. If you are short on fluids one of the first symptoms is feeling tired and fatigued. Staying hydrated will prevent this and boost your energy. Drinking water helps you think, stay focused, and better concentrate on the task at hand. So make sure to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.

Relax Your Mind

Decluttering your mind is a good way to reduce stress, increase focus, and spend more time doing other activities. We spend so much energy trying to remember every piece of information we receive. One way to handle this is to write things down, such as creating a to-do list. You can also keep a calendar, take notes, or set a reminder. By doing this you give yourself less room to make mistakes by forgetting something. You will also be able to be more concentrated in the moment and you’ll use less energy trying to keep everything organized and present inside your mind.

Remember to be kind to yourself and allow yourself to be tired and unmotivated. We are experiencing unprecedented, hard times and it’s okay not to be on top of your game all the time. Just allow yourself room to be human and grow.
