Stick to a Consistent Schedule

It’s important that you reflect on all your responsibilities and set a clear schedule that will allow you to manage your time. Once you have a schedule in place, it’s good to stick to it sure you stick to said schedule. Consistency is the best thing you can do if you want to be able to stick to a routine and complete your goals. This means limiting the times you deviate from your set schedule, especially during the first few weeks. Once you are accustomed to your routine it’ll be easier for you to work on different responsibilities.

Remember to Take Breaks

As important as it is to put in effort for school, it’s just as important for you to take breaks. It’s easy to burn yourself out, especially when you are trying to meet expectations and taking care of your responsibilities. It’s okay and even encouraged for you to take time for yourself and do something you enjoy and makes you feel relaxed. You deserve to unwind after a long week of balancing school and life in general, so reward yourself for your hard work.

Reach Out to Others For Help

Lastly, make sure to remember that while it may feel like you have to take on all your duties by yourself, it is good to ask others for help. Whenever you feel stressed or overwhelmed, go to someone you know will be there for you. They can help you with your work or simply provide support. The most important thing is that it’s nice to know that you can count on someone. It can be a friend, a parent, or a teacher, just make sure to communicate your feelings and ask for what you need. It’s also okay to cut down on some of your extracurriculars if they’re beginning to feel like too much, it’s up to you and it won’t make you any less hardworking or capable.
